Project Overview
Designing scalable abuse detection and mitigation experiences focused specifically on chat safety — a largely unmoderated space on the platform — and tools to aid moderators across Reddit's ecosystem of 97M+ daily active users. My work improves transparency, communication, and support for users, moderators, and admins.

Contributions
Created detailed product strategy and design documentation, including RICE frameworks, multi-phase product ideations, and feature enhancement roadmaps, to align user needs with business objectives and platform safety goals and aid in the development of long-term strategic roadmaps.
Advocated for and defined safety initiatives in the previously underserved chat space by integrating user research insights, industry best practices, and cross-functional perspectives into strategy.
Partnered with design, product management, research, and engineering teams to develop and refine solutions that enhance platform integrity and empower moderators with improved tools.
Conducted competitor and product audits to determine landscape, parity needs and other opportunities in the chat safety and moderation tooling space.
Developed a multitude of explorations and prototypes, presenting them to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
